Have you ever wished you could relive the simple joys of childhood, even for a little while?

Join us for a special hands-on experience where you can cuddle our lambs and enjoy bottle-feeding them—without little ones competing for a turn!

This extended session offers more than just adorable lambs. You’ll also get to create your own needle-felted sheep, styled however you like or inspired by one of ours. Gather around the fire circle, unwind, and soak in the soothing sounds of sheep and lambs in the background.

To make the experience even cozier, we’ll provide hot drinks and biscuits as we go. Come reconnect with nature, embrace your creativity, and enjoy a peaceful moment just for you!

I am very much looking forward to welcoming you to Acorn Hollow for our Felt, Fleece and Firelight Session. You will be making your own needlefelted sheep whilst having the opportunity to feed our pet lambs and enjoy snuggles undisturbed by children.

Location

Acorn Hollow is located between Market Weighton and South Dalton, on a working farm. There is a hardstanding area for car parking and outside toilet facilities on site. The What Three Words address for Acorn Hollow is ///twisting.shining.upwardly

Refreshments

There will be a choice of hot chocolate, tea, coffee or occasionally a seasonal drink along with cake or biscuits. Please me us aware of any food intolerances when booking.

Equipment

All equipment for the craft sessions will be provided.

What to Wear

Acorn Hollow is located on a working farm, that means we work whatever the weather, there may be mud, there may be rain, we might have wonderful bright warm sunshine, there will be animal poo underfoot in places. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing, clothes and shoes that are allowed to get muddy are essential. If you have wellies and waterproofs please bring them with you. During warmer weather please ensure you still wear long trousers or leggings, it would be advisable to apply sun cream before the sessions also as we will be in the sun for much of the time.

Medical Information and Allergies

This session is not suitable for pregnant ladies.

Please make sure you have informed me of any essential medical information or allergies. We will be providing Hot Chocolate and snacks, we will have ‘Free From’ alternatives if we are told about dietary requirements. Hand Washing/Safety Safety instructions will be delivered at the start of the session. There will be hand washing facilities available please make sure you use these before eating and after the session.
